unable to open your default  email folder.  You must connect to your microsoft exchange server computer with the current profile before you can synchronize your folder with your offline folder file
Hello all, I have one user that just stopped receiving emails on his IPhone. So I had him log on to his computer and go to Outlook. He gets the message listed in the title: "unable to open your default email folder. You must connect to your microsoft exchange server computer with the current profile before you can synchronize your folder with your offline folder file" I have never seen this happen before and no one else if having this problem. I have tried to disable and reenable his account on the server (SBS 2003) using Exchange 2003. I have even removed is outlook profile from his computer and recreated it - I did not think that this option would do anything but I had run out of ideas. I did restart the information store and dismounted and remounted the exchange stores. I also looked to see if there were multiple logins for him in Exchange - his name was not even listed once. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Rob Battaglia

Hello Rob, Please try below suggestion: 1 Move the mailbox to another database, delete the .ost and profile on the workstation. 2 Client request failed to find the server name. Open the host file on the client machine and add the NETBIOS and FQDN of the server and map it to the IP address of the server .i.e. 10.0.0.45 If both of them don't work, you can put your question to SBS support forum give a shot.
